Who does the FMA represent?

Formed in 1995, the FMA represent Facilities Management Companies who manage and deliver out sourced services interfacing with government, industry & commerce.
The FMA represents views of members & sets standards and working practices for the FM industry


What are the FMA objectives?

To represent, promote and safe guard the interest of FMA members and the business sectors in which they are engaged relevant to the scope of the association.
To promote the application of FM to industry and commerce while maintaining standards and codes of practice by members companies.
Present a representative voice to (UK) government both direct to the relevant Departments and also via the Trade Association Council of the CBI - an invited assembly of thirty eight of the UK's most important trade associations.
Support training schemes for persons employed within member companies.

What is the Facilities Associations Forum [FAF]?

The forum is in essence a collective. An opportunity for those Facilities and Property related associations/institutions/organisations in the UK that wish to share information and find ways to enhance the value of the services offered to the membership of their respective organisations. The primary aim is to foster closer working relationships between professionals working in Facilities and Property.


Who should join the FMA?

Any company or organisation who directly provide and deliver single or multiplescope of services to end users.
The Association is not open to individual personal membership.

What does membership cost?

The annual fee for businesses actively delivering FM services is £1200pa.
The financial affairs of the Association are managed by FMA Ltd, UK registered company chaired by John Ellis and 7 other directors taken from the FM industry


What's involved in joining the FMA?

Your company is/are requested to complete the on-line application form
The form is processed through the FMA Membership committee, via the secretariat.
Successful applicants are contacted by e-mail (or post - if not available) with an invitation to join and accompanying documentation
