Restaurant Associates sows a seed and harvests Radish, its new events business

 

On Wednesday 19 June, Restaurant Associates launched Radish, its new high-end event catering and party planning business. Radish combines Restaurant Associates’ exquisite food offer with Rapport’s premium guest services to deliver inspiring events to business and industry clients across the city of London and beyond.

The concept of Radish was formed organically. With many of Restaurant Associates’ clients looking to host events – from conferences and networking evenings to product launches and parties – there was a clear opportunity for Restaurant Associates to expand its service offering. Through its ability to create unique events, combined with its in depth knowledge of Restaurant Associates’ clients, Radish will deliver bespoke events that are perfectly tailored to meet individual needs.

Commenting on the launch of Radish, Andy Harris, Managing Director of Restaurant Associates said: “This is a really exciting time for Restaurant Associates. Over the last year we have reinvigorated our business; creating fantastic supplier partnerships, amazing new food concepts and embedding Rapport into our family. Heading up the Radish events team is Claire Taylor, who joins Restaurant Associates with a strong background in event planning. Claire previously worked for London party caterer Zafferano for five years and brings experience, passion and industry expertise to the party.


Radish was formally launched at the Restaurant Associates’ client summer party last night. This annual event provided the perfect platform to showcase Radish’s innovative and creative event design, planning and management expertise. Held on the roof terrace at one of Restaurant Associates’ city clients, guests got to enjoy an evening of brilliant food, service and entertainment, against the backdrop of the London skyline.

The theme of the event was ‘a celebration of the great British allotment’, allowing Restaurant Associates to demonstrate its commitment to sourcing the best ingredients and supporting British farmers, producers and growers. The party blended garden-inspired food and allotment-style installations, with a multitude of props, all creating the ultimate Radish wow factor.
