New Chief Financial Officer at PHS
The PHS Group has appointed Simon Woods as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Simon joined the workplace services provider on 5th November 2012 and will lead the financial management of the Group, working closely with CEO Gareth Rhys Williams to drive sustained profitable growth.
Simon brings a wealth of senior financial management experience to PHS, accrued in markets having a good synergy with the Group. His previous position was Interim Finance Director for British GasBusiness; part of the top 30 FTSE 100 listed integrated energy company Centrica plc. Before that, he was Finance Director with the waste collection business of Biffa, earlier having been its Group Financial Controller. He was also Finance Director for RelianceSecurity Services Ltd for five years, and held a number of other senior finance roles prior to that, since qualifying with KPMG.
A life-long sailor, an enthusiastic motorcyclist and a classic car fan, he is married with two children.
