Asset Skills Barometer Research

Published: 29th March 2010

Asset Skills is the sector skills council for the property, housing, cleaning and facilities management sectors. It is committed to understanding the skills and training needs of its employers across the UK. For this reason the Asset Skills Research Team have developed the Barometer survey.  The survey aims to address the following topics:

·         Current opportunities and challenges.
·         Investment in staff skills and training.
·         Future changes.
·         Access to skills and knowledge within the labour market.
·         Ongoing monitoring of company performance trends.

The Barometer is really important to Asset Skills as it helps us to get really insightful information into the facilities management sector and we know that the industry finds the reports very helpful. The more organisations that get involved, the more robust the information will be. As more organisations get on board we will be able to produce more reports on regional trends and according to size of organisation.

We would be delighted if you would spend a few minutes filling out the questionnaire that can be found at the following link:

All companies taking part in this research will be guaranteed confidentiality.  Analysis of the data will be carried out within Asset Skills and all resulting information will be presented in an aggregated format where no individual company will be cited or named.

Previous survey reports can be found on the research pages on the Asset Skills website or by following the link.
